Tailwind after financing round: The start-up CNC24 completes its range of services

Another milestone for the German smart manufacturer: the global network of certified manufacturers can be expanded thanks to the holistic international orientation. CNC24 now covers all manufacturing processes.

Berlin, August 29, 2022 – CNC24 launched a 100-day program to invest in the further development of the company. Recently, the digital B2B procurement platform for precision components CNC24 successfully closed its first financing round with 8.25 million euros. With this tailwind, the start-up, which was founded in 2019, has set itself ambitious goals: “Our goal is to become the largest digital platform for industrial components in Europe. As a full-service provider, we are now rounding off our offering with new manufacturing processes,” explains Willi Ruopp, CEO and co-founder.

New manufacturing processes

The agenda covers almost all areas of the company. Most of the energy is being invested in expanding the range of services: the network of manufacturers worldwide is being continuously expanded and CNC24 can now offer its customers all common manufacturing processes. The already extensive portfolio has been expanded to include injection molding and die casting processes as well as additive manufacturing in 3D metal printing. Quantitative restrictions are now a thing of the past – orders can be realized from a quantity of one to series production in large delivery quantities. Internal processes and workflows are also to be optimized and automated to a greater extent.

Expansion of the team of experts

The team is to be strategically expanded with specialists to meet the new challenges. The recruitment process is already in full swing and the first new employees are already on board: Claudius Tadesse, who previously supported the start-up as a consultant, is now joining the company as CMO (Chief Marketing Officer). With his many years of experience in building marketing teams for various digital companies, he will now continue CNC24’s strategic positioning as a reliable partner for digital supply chain solutions with a team and various agencies. Tadesse is positive about the future: “Since the company was founded, we have managed to strengthen Germany as an industrial location with CNC24 and convince a broad customer base of SMEs and DAX companies of our service. The logical next step is to establish CNC24 as a leading brand in component procurement and to actively shape the digitalization of the industry on a global level as a driving force.”
